AAAS Annual Meeting to be Keynoted by Al Gore

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting, http://aaas.org/meetings, to be held in Chicago, Feb 12-16; and in particular, a science Session on "Global Sea Level: Observations, Causes, and Prediction" organized by the Ohio State University researchers, to be held on Feb 16 (Monday), 2009.

The AAAS annual meeting is the largest scientific conference in the world. Former VP Al Gore and 2007 Nobel Peace Prize co-winner will give the keynote speech.

The sea level science session is relevant to and the OSU researchers are supported by the Climate, Water and Carbon Program, at The Ohio State University, http://cwc.osu.edu.
