SES Undergrad Awarded Ohio EPA Scholarship

Patrick Burns, Geological Sciences Honors undergraduate student (B.S. 2010 expected), has been awarded a $2500 scholarship through Ohio EPA's Environmental Education Fund, which is administered by the Ohio Academy of Science. Patrick was one of only 18 students Ohio-wide who won a scholarship this year. Five other Ohio State students were among the 18 scholarship winners. Students were selected to receive scholarships based on academic record and GPA, original research or other contribution to environmental science, activity in extra-curricular activities other than athletics, effective communications, and faculty recommendation.
