SES Graduate Student Stephen Levas Receives Award

Graduate student Stephen Levas received a Minorities Striving and Pursuing Higher Degrees of Success in Earth System Science (MS PHD'S) award from the Institute for Broadening Participation with funding from the National Science Foundation and NASA. The program provides professional development experiences to facilitate the advancement of minorities committed to achieving outstanding Earth system science careers thought mentorship, participation at scientific conferences, and professional development workshops. Stephen Levas is a graduate student in Dr. Andrea Grottoli's lab and is focused on coral bleaching for his dissertation research.
